What's always included
Automation that earns its place
Every project is assessed for where automation or AI would genuinely help — and it's included only where it solves something real, with any third-party usage costs approved before launch. No gimmicks.
You own everything
Your website, domain, and content are yours, and final payment is only due once you've approved the finished site.
A simple client workspace
Every project includes a client workspace for updates, files, approvals, and next steps — from kickoff to launch.
The exact number up front
Where you land in a range depends on pages, content readiness, and integrations — your proposal shows the exact price before anything starts.
Not ready for a full website yet? Our Google Business Profile Quick Start ($150–$300) gets you found on Google — no website needed. Ask about it in your free check-up.
Not sure which fits? The free check-up gives you a recommendation in plain language — no pressure.
No surprise costs
Some tools your site can use — like texting, booking, or AI — have small monthly costs of their own. Your proposal lists every one before anything launches, you approve them up front, and the accounts stay in your name by default. The full details are in the FAQ below.
Keep everything current
Care plans cover NorthHead's ongoing support: updates, tuning, monitoring, reporting, small improvements, and a monthly allowance for your AI tools' running costs — bigger plans, bigger allowance. The plans are independent of the build packages — a Bronze site can run on Care Complete, a Platinum build can sit on Care Essentials. Pick whatever fits your ongoing needs. Other vendor usage is separate unless your proposal includes a managed allowance.
Care Essentials
- Uptime monitoring & security patches
- Software updates
- Minor copy edits (up to 1 hr/mo)
- Monthly allowance for AI running costs included
- Priority support via the portal
Care Plus
- Everything in Care Essentials, plus:
- Monthly SEO report & content update
- Lead-system tuning (chatbot conversations, booking flow, or follow-up messages)
- Analytics review via the portal
- 2x the Care Essentials AI running-cost allowance
Care Commerce
- Everything in Care Plus, plus:
- E-commerce monitoring (payments, inventory)
- Promotional & seasonal updates
- AI workflow updates and spend checks
- 3x the Care Essentials AI running-cost allowance
Care Complete
- Everything in Care Commerce, plus:
- AI model, prompt & API monitoring
- Priority support hours each month
- Quarterly strategy review call
- 4x the Care Essentials managed AI API usage credits
Care plans are month-to-month after an initial 3 months — cancel anytime after that. Where you land in a plan's range depends on your site's size and how much AI it runs.
Add care to any build — tell us in your free check-up and we'll recommend the level that fits.
Add only what you need
Keep your starting price low and grow with à la carte pieces. The note beside each one says when it's already included in a tier, when it's a lighter standalone option, and when it's a recurring service — so you never pay twice for the same thing.
| Add-on | One-time price |
|---|---|
| Extra website page (for pages beyond your tier's included count) | $75–$150 |
| Menu setup (for restaurants & cafés) | $125–$250 |
| Booking integration (for a Bronze site, or as a second system — it's one of Silver's lead-system choices) | $150–$375 |
| Event landing page (for a one-off event or promotion) | $150–$300 |
| Review automation (auto-asks for reviews at the right moment — one of Silver's lead-system choices; ongoing tuning is part of monthly care) | $125–$375 |
| AI chatbot (for a Bronze site, or as a second system — it's one of Silver's lead-system choices; operating usage separate) | $375–$750 |
| Email/SMS setup (text & email follow-up, including missed-call text-back — one of Silver's lead-system choices) | $250–$625 |
| E-commerce starter shop (test-sell a few products — the full Gold storefront is the step up) | $750–$2,000 |
| Contractor quote intake (for trades that quote jobs — one of Silver's lead-system choices) | $250–$750 |
| Website speed tune-up (for a slow existing site) | $250–$500 |
| Content & copy refresh (rewrite key pages in plain language) | $150–$500 |
| Emergency / rush update (same-day priority edit for existing clients) | $75–$150 |
| Managed operations (recurring: we run your AI/SMS/email vendor accounts for you, with spend caps — distinct from care plans, which cover our support time) | Quoted monthly |
| Internal staff AI assistant (answers staff questions from your own notes & policies) | $375–$750 |
Flexibility that works for a small market
Pick the structure that fits your cash flow. Every plan starts with a deposit, and totals match the project price you're quoted — no hidden financing fees.
Standard
50% deposit to start, 50% at launch — you see and approve the finished site before the balance is due. The simplest option, and the lowest total cost.
Setup + monthly
Lower upfront cost without changing the project total — e.g. a $750 Bronze project can be $375 down + about $31/mo for 12 months. Ongoing care can be added separately.
Split payment
Spread the project cost over a few months — a small deposit up front, then the balance in equal monthly payments.
- Bronze
- $250 down, then balance over 2 months
- Silver
- $500 down, then balance over 2 months
- Gold
- $1,000 down, then balance over 3 months
- Platinum
- Custom milestone schedule across the build
Not sure which structure fits? We'll recommend one in your free check-up and put exact numbers in your proposal.
Straight answers before you reach out
If your question isn't here, ask Compass in the corner or send us a note — we answer plainly either way.
How much does a website cost?
Projects start at $500 for Bronze — up to a five-page mobile-friendly website with basic SEO and a contact form. Silver (from $1,000) adds a blog and your choice of one lead system: booking, better quote intake, missed-call follow-up, review requests, or an FAQ chatbot. Full e-commerce starts at $2,000 (Gold), and flagship builds at $3,500 (Platinum). The free check-up ends with a recommendation for the smallest tier that solves your actual problem.
What decides where in a tier's range my quote lands?
Mostly size and moving parts: how many pages you need, how much content is ready versus written from scratch, and how many extras (booking, chatbot, follow-up flows) the build includes. Your proposal shows the exact number before anything starts — and it doesn't change unless you change the scope.
What's the “lead system” included with Silver?
It's your pick of the one tool that best plugs the leak where your business actually loses customers: a booking integration, better quote intake, missed-call follow-up, a review request system, or an FAQ chatbot. An inn usually wants booking, a contractor quote intake, a busy café missed-call follow-up — we'll recommend one in your proposal, and you can add a second à la carte if you need it.
How long does a project take?
Bronze sites are usually live within 1–3 weeks. Silver builds typically take 2–4 weeks and Gold e-commerce builds 3–6 weeks, depending on content and approvals. You get a clear timeline in your proposal before anything starts.
Is the free check-up really free? What's the catch?
It's free, and there's no catch. You enter your business details and website, get an automated first-pass audit right away, then can book a free 15-minute call if you want to talk it through. Sometimes the recommendation is to keep things simple and not hire us yet. If a paid project makes sense, we'll name it plainly and you can decide from there.
Do I own my website?
Yes. You own your website, your domain, your Google profile, and your content. Every project ends with owner training and a clean handoff. Monthly care plans are optional — they exist for owners who'd rather not handle updates themselves, not to lock you in.
What if I don't like the design?
You see the site before you pay the balance. Every project starts with a deposit (typically 50%), then you review a full draft, give feedback, and get a dedicated round of revisions — plus a fix-it window after launch for anything that slipped through. The exact revision and payment terms are written into your proposal before work starts, so there are no surprises on either side.
Do you require monthly contracts?
Project work is one-time and clearly scoped. Monthly care plans are optional and start at $25/month — after an initial 3-month commitment they run month-to-month, for businesses that want updates, SEO reporting, AI tool upkeep, and priority support handled for them. Pick any care plan with any build package — they're independent.
Are AI API or software costs included?
Project prices include AI setup, configuration, testing, training, and handoff. Care plans include a monthly allowance for the AI's running costs — bigger plans, bigger allowance, and anything beyond it is approved by you first. Other ongoing vendor usage — like SMS, email platforms, booking tools, hosting, or e-commerce software — is separate and approved before launch. By default those accounts are client-owned and billed directly; if you'd rather have us manage more of them, we can include a monthly managed usage allowance in your care plan or quote it as a separate add-on with spend caps.
What does “practical AI” actually mean? Will a robot talk to my customers?
It means small, owner-controlled tools: an assistant that answers common questions using only information you approve, drafts for review responses, and tidy organization of quotes and inquiries. Every project is assessed for where automation would genuinely help — and AI is included only where it solves a real problem for your business, never as a gimmick. You stay in control, with real people handling anything complex or sensitive. The chat bubble on this site is exactly this kind of tool — try it.
We're not very technical. Is that a problem?
Not at all — most of our clients aren't. We explain everything in plain language, build systems around how your business already works, and include training so you're comfortable with anything you need to touch. You'll never be handed something you don't understand.
