Run trips, not the phone

A site that settles an out-of-town angler's planning questions before they call, and turns "is Saturday open?" phone tag into a booking request with the details attached.

How customers choose

What a customer three hours away needs to know

Charter customers plan from a distance. The page answers the planning questions so the call that does come is ready to book.

What's running, and when?

A season chart shows what's in the water month by month, so people pick the right trip before calling.

What does it cost, and what's included?

Trips and per-person rates, a private whole-boat option, and what's included versus what to bring.

Is the captain legit?

The boat, the captain's license, and the weather policy sit up front, where nervous first-timers look for them.

What your site includes

Built for customers planning a trip from out of town

  • Trips and rates, plainly. Per-person and private-boat prices, with nothing to decode.
  • A season-at-a-glance chart. What's running each month, so the right people book the right trip.
  • License and weather policy up front. The trust questions answered before anyone has to ask.
  • A booking-request form. Requests arrive with the date, trip type, and group size already attached.
  • Found on Google Maps. Basic on-page SEO is included, and we can clean up your Google Business Profile.

The problem this solves

Booking a boat from three hours away

What an angler planning from Portland needs settled before they will call — and what answering it up front does to the captain's phone.

Before

Every booking started with a phone call — often from Portland or Seattle — asking the same things: what's running, what does it cost, what should we bring, is Saturday open?

After

Rates, the season chart, and the gear list answer the planning questions online, and bookings come off the open-dates calendar with the date, trip, and head count already attached — so the captain can run trips instead of running the phone.

On this coast

Where fishing charters lose the booking

Situations that come up for fishing charters, guides, and tour operators working the mouth of the Columbia. They're common patterns, not client stories.

The bar is too rough, and every party needs a call

When the morning's trips can't cross the bar, every party on the board needs to hear it, and most want another day. A weather policy stated plainly on the site, and a follow-up that offers the next open trip, turns an evening of calls into a few messages.

Anglers plan from hours away

Many charter customers drive in from the cities and plan around the runs. A season chart, trips and per-person rates, and what to bring answer them before they call, and the booking request arrives with the date, trip, and party size attached.

The captain is on the water when the phone rings

Calls during a trip go to voicemail, and the caller books the next boat on the list. Missed-call text-back sends them a link to your booking form while you're still out.

We work with fishing charters, tours and outfitters across Pacific County and the Astoria area, including Ilwaco, Chinook, and Warrenton. Every town we serve

Through the year

Booked before the runs, ready for next year by spring

Before the season

Anglers plan around the season's openers. Have the trips up as soon as the season is set.

  • This season's trips, dates, and rates on the site, with the season chart updated.
  • The captain's license, the boat, and the weather policy where first-timers look for them.
  • A booking form or booking tool that takes the date, trip, and party size, with deposits if you take them.

In the slow months

Between seasons, set up what would have saved you time on the water.

  • Review requests to this season's parties, with photos of the catch if they'll share them.
  • Next season's dates sent to last year's customers before the calendar fills.
  • Waivers, deposits, and the standby list off paper, onto a trip board if the clipboard is overflowing.

When you're ready for more

When a weather call means an evening on the phone

Deposits, waivers, and standby lists on paper, and a cancelled departure means calling every party. A focused trip board can show seats, money, and waivers at a glance, move a cancelled trip's parties into rebooking, and receive website bookings on its own.

What it costs

Most charter sites include booking from day one

One monthly price, with the first three months paid up front, then month to month. Add-ons on your first order are about half price for as long as you keep them, and these prices include that. Your order shows the exact monthly price before anything starts — see how it works.

Works with the tools you already use

  • FareHarbor
  • Peek

Seats and bookings stay in your booking tool. The site answers the planning questions first, then hands the customer to it at the moment they're ready.

Using something else? If it gives you a booking link or an embed, it works the same way. Online booking: $13 a month when you sign, $25 added later. Names are listed so you can find yours. We're not affiliated with any of these companies.

Straight answers

We book through a third-party booking tool. Can we keep it?

Yes. We connect the booking tool you already use, or recommend a simple one if you don't have one yet.

Does this work for tours other than fishing?

Yes. The same shape works for anything sold as a scheduled, weather-dependent outing — guided hunts, dive trips, kayak tours — where half the job is answering planning questions.

How does the season chart stay current?

Send us the new season, trips, or rates. There's no editor to learn: send us the change and it's made within three business days. Small edits are included in the Website Plan, and we don't count them.
